Stanley Starr

Stanley Starr recently retired from NASA where he was Branch Chief for Applied Sciences at Kennedy Space Center, leading a research group developing space exploration technologies. In addition, he held several Agency level leadership posts for In Situ Resource Utilization (ISRU) including being lead for the ISRU team under Evolvable Mars Campaign, Human Architecture Team. Most of his career was occupied in developing technologies in support of the Space Shuttle Program beginning in 1981. Mr. Starr holds a Master's degree in Physics and is currently a Honorary Senior Research Fellow for the Imperial College London and is working on lunar mining and processing technologies.
